The 5 W and an H
Who I Am: I’m a guy who migrated to Australia from the USA almost 20 years ago. I migrated here to be with someone but we split up already. I am married (to a guy) and have had a background in information technology.
What I Am: I work in the medical field and love what I do (though I might complain about it a lot). I also do some work on the side in IT when I want to buy more stuff.
Where I Am: Melbourne, Australia (or depending on what time of the year, Houston, Texas USA).
Why I Am: Hopefully I can explore this through terrible writing and overthinking. That’s why I am here.
How I Am: I love dachshunds, good food, good scenery, and I really like the time I have to myself. I am a gamer, but not very serious about it. It just gives me an escape from a hard day or week.
I know having a personal website isn’t in fashion anymore and most people have moved on to apps like Snapchat, Instagram, and other social communities. The problem with those services is that I like my freedom to say and do whatever I want.
Don’t think for a moment that it’s some excuse to be an idiot and say things that are controversial, unpopular, or anything. No rules. No censorship. No describing my feelings to my immediate family. I don’t have to deal with any of that. And you know something else? I’m glad.
On my weblog and personal website, I will not intentionally trick you and I don’t personally track you. I do use some Google services for fonts and form validation and sadly, they probably do.
Do me a big favour and use a browser that blocks third-party cookies. I suggest using Brave (If you use this browser you can help support this website using BAT) and/or Vivaldi. I try not to use Chrome and if I do, I use uBlock Origin with it. If you’re worried about privacy and you’re using Chrome as your main browser, you’re not doing yourself any good.
